You have officially saved my sanity. I tried to do this through the Control panel, and I kept getting a error about Windows Defender being turned off---and the link to get me there wasn't working. After manually turning on Windows Defender and restarting my computer, it still didn't work, even when I ran the correct command. Ok...so I googled, found this, and I now I unchecked the programs that were slowing me down. I was also able to fix that stupid Windows Defender problem; updates from my antivirus software were interrupted when my battery was coincidently unlatched and caused MAJOR headaches.

Thanks so much!!!
