Thanks for helping me find it. Whenever I tried to add a shortcut to the Quick Launch bar Windows Explorer would crash for me as well. I wonder if it's a problem with our computer models because I too have a Sony Vaio, VGN series. After adding the iTunes shortcut in the folder, it seems to be working again.
