I figured there was a folder I could add it in. Thanks for helping me find it. Whenever I tried to add a shortcut to the Quick Launch bar Windows Explorer would crash for me as well.
I wonder if it's a problem with our computer models because I too have a Sony Vaio, VGN series.
After adding the iTunes shortcut in the folder, it seems to be working again. I can add shortcuts to the Quick Launch bar without having to open the folder.

I've tried to load at least 7 shareware programs to convert between various audio programs. Each time I try to load one of these, Vista gives me an "appcrash" message. Suggestions? Hacks?

I rebooted my machine on 5/5/2007 and now it boots and explorer crashes with the following details. I have run several adware, spyware and virus removal tools but the problem still persists. The computer is a Toshiba A105 Satelite Laptop with the free express upgrade to Vista Home Premium. I was trying to perform the startup recovery but the DVD is not bootable and could not find the tool on the dvd.
