MCTS 70-528

Question:

Hi Tony,

I am now preparing for MCTS 70-528 certification. I have studied the training kit of yours.

But is it sufficient for the exam? This is my first certification so I am not having any idea of how difficult the questions might be.

Tell me some sites which I can explore and prepare for this certification and also nice sites for the mock tests.

Thanks in advance.

Nita

Answer:

Hi, Nita. You’re referring to my 70-528 training kit. According to most of the reviews, it’s a good solid book and provides most of what you need. My advice would be to complete the book in its entirety, including working through each of the practices, and doing all the suggested practices at the end. Use the practice test questions, and if there’s a question you don’t know the answer to, check the links provided for the question to research the topic in more detail.

Good luck! I’m sure you’ll pass with no problem.

    Hi,

I am currently studying MCITP using the book that you co-authored, I am currently stuck at the Windows PE disc stage, I have created the disc as per the instructions in the book with imagex on it, however when I load the PE disc it comes up with the prompt X:\windows\system32> I then type cd d: as per the instructions and get the following:

    X:\windows\system32>cd d:
    D:\

    X:\windows\system32>

I have checked that I have the correct drive letter and even created a new PE disc but I still end up with the same thing and as I cannot change to the D: directory I cannot run imagex.

I used Nero 8 to create the CD from the ISO.

    Any help would be nice.

    Thanks
    Jon.
