When I click on the Help and Support, I get a message that IE cannot open the Internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Is this a known bug?

This has come up before–running this .reg file should solve your problems.
My boyfriend is having a problem with his computer, internet explorer shuts itself down and does an automatic restart after he closes a web page. he did not have this problem when he had windows xp. any suggestions?
