<description>Not quite sure what to make of this as I don&#039;tr write in stuff like this. I&#039;m an old MCP and have done a fair bit of Desktop development, But recently, I purchased 2 x Compaq 8510P that have been returned as a result of the ATIKMDAG - Display Driver Stops Responding and recovering. They received various loads. Vista Business with Ultimate overlayed on top - lots of errors. Vista Ultimate with HP drivers overlaid - reduced errors but still erroring. Then very clean Ultimate build, with only core drivers loaded - even fewer errors, but still had approx. 10 fatal blue screens.

Have just purchased a Lenovo T61 with refund from 8510P which comes with Vista Ultimate preloaded - and guess what, I get the same error, but this time blaming the NVIDIA driver, as opposed to the ATI driver being used on the 8510P.

Really weird and noticing quite a few posts with respect to this. This is the first time I have encountered this error and have loaded Ultimate on various desktops and notebooks in my SOE development work.

Any thoughts?!?

Many Thanks,
